How does it work
Ecological Subli-fix is for dying darker fabrics and other materials back to a faded fabric that enables you to print sublimation transfer sheets onto darker fabrics.

Ecological Subli-fix will fade the fabric, which combined will release your print onto darker fabrics.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1, you will need to print your transfer image from the computer directly to the printer.
2, pour Ecological Subl-fix into a roller tray.
3, get Dark Fabric and roll Ecological Subl-fix to the fabric.
4, leave on fabric until you are satisfied with the fading. (darker the fabric more times apply
Ecological Subli-fix.
5, you do not need to leave in ”Sun” all day you can just apply the heat of some sort to dry fabric completely.
6, you are now ready to place your printed image face down onto the fabric material, cover the dye sublimation paper with either greaseproof paper or Teflon sheet.
7, Close the heat press and make sure that you have set your seconds from around 70 seconds to 120 seconds 380f USA or 180c depending on your heat-press, Heat press ”MUST” be set to medium to high pressure.
8, When the heat press beeps release the handle and take away the greaseproof paper or Teflon sheet.
9, Check the image whilst very slowly pulling away transfer paper, to ensure the image has sufficiently released from the dye sublimation paper.
10, If it has not released please put the press back down with the Teflon or greaseproof paper and repress for a further 30secs until the ink has completely come away from the paper and transferred onto the fabric,
(so the image is very faded on the sublimation transfer paper.
11, spray Subli-fix Cottonizer onto fabric 12-15” away approx.15 pumps and leave to dry for 3 to 6 hours before wash.
TO ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULTS
Ensure your printer is set to the best quality photo setting or a profile with high ink coverage. It is important to use a transfer paper with a high ink release level to ensure the best results when the ink is transferred.
Important
With dye sublimation printing it is important to note that there are a number of different variables involved to produce the end product: the printer, ink, software, transfer paper, heat press, and of course the quality of the fabric is being applied to best advice is to use 100% cotton to get best results. As such the information below is given as a guideline and may require adjustments to be made such as printer settings, heat press temperatures, pressure, and pressing times.
